Foam is a (meta)-stable dispersion of gas bubbles inside a liquid phase with high gas volume fractions (Wilson, 2013).Foam in industrial processes of the chemical and food industry is one of the major reasons for malfunctions and disruption of process equipment. Foam usually causes significant reductions of performance and efficiency up to a complete standstill of entire production processes, which can lead to severe revenue losses. (McHardy et al., 2018; Lockett, 1986; Zlokarnik, 2006). SUNY offers highly efficient antifoam agents. These foam control products minimize the detrimental effects of entrained air, surface foam and surfactant-stabilized foam in aqueous manufacturing systems and address most, if not all, foam-related issues and regulatory requirements.

Who We Are
Xi'an Suny New Materials Co., Ltd., founded in 1997, is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, and production of defoamers and fungicides. SUNY's defoamer portfolio comprises several series, including silicone-based, polyether-based, mineral oil-based, and high-carbon alcohol-based variants. These products find extensive application across multiple industrial fields such as biofermentation, papermaking, wastewater treatment, desulfurization in power plants, chemical production, and agrochemicals. SUNY possesses the capability to produce food-grade defoamers (License Number: SC20161012410034). Its plant is located in the Jixian Taizhou Innovation Industrial Park within the Xi'an High-Tech Zone. The company has attained accreditation for the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 international management systems, as well as Halal (HALAL) certification. SUNY has exported and well-established in numerous global markets, covering regions like Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
R&D Capacity
SUNY maintains an independent R&D center in Xi'an featuring well-equipped laboratory facilities and a professional technical research team. Since its establishment in 1997, the company has specialized in pulp & paper, water treatment, chemical production, and bio-fermentation sectors. Through deep collaboration with domestic and international clients, SUNY has successfully developed multiple defoamer products whose defoaming and foam suppression capabilities are fully capable of replacing imported counterparts. Simultaneously, SUNY's technical team continuously optimizes production processes to ensure product stability. In recent years, the company has secured multiple technical invention patents.
